About The Gallery
Founded in 2017 by artist and curator Skye Weinglass, Skye Gallery Aspen is a contemporary art gallery showcasing emerging to established artists from the U.S. and around the world. After six successful years in Aspen, Colorado, the gallery relocated in 2023 to New York City’s Chelsea Arts District.
Artist-centered and female-forward, Skye Gallery champions underrepresented voices and celebrates experimentation across mediums. Many of the gallery’s artists are self-taught emerging talents whose practices embrace innovation, material exploration, and narrative depth, alongside mid-career and established artists. Skye is a guest curator and art advisor, she collaborates and participates in art fairs and pop-up spaces between New York City, Aspen, Miami and Mexico City.
In Aspen, the gallery became a cultural hub known for thoughtfully curated exhibitions and vibrant community engagement, offering workshops, performances, and classes. Now rooted in both New York City and Aspen, Skye Gallery continues its mission to support underground talent and foster meaningful connections between artists, collectors, and the wider community. With a personalized, hands-on approach, the gallery provides a platform for hand-made work created by genuine, committed artists.
