Traditionally only featuring women-made artwork, Pink Highlights is Skye Gallery’s first exhibition to also include male artists. With October being National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Weinglass presents a transition in her representation with a feminine subject matter that touches us all. Addressing traditional gender norms, Pink Highlights is a further investigation of the manifestation of the color pink. As a celebration of artistic talent based in the Roaring Fork Valley, color is used as the visual thread to link works of all medium and genre.  

The Art Base is a treasured gathering place for creativity, community and art in historic downtown Basalt, Colorado—focused on fostering expression in the visual arts for all ages and abilities.
